Our programs serve to provide homeless and runaway youth with a nurturing and supportive environment where they can begin to rebuild their lives.

We offer the skills and resources to help youth on the path to self-empowerment.

We believe in the importance of healthy and respectful relationships with the goal of family reunification whenever possible.


Services for Homeless & Runaway Youth in Butte County

Location: 130 W 6th Street, Chico, CA
Hours: 10:30 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday
6th Street Center is open to homeless and runaway youth between 14 and 24 years old.

We have staff prepared to help with:
  • Family Reunification
  • Counseling
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Health Concerns
  • Employment
  • Housing
  • Educational Advocacy & Tutoring
  • Support Groups
  • Budgeting Skills
  • Case Management
We also offer basic services including:
  • Showers
  • Laundry Facilities
  • Afternoon Meal
  • Clothing Exchange
  • Computer Access
  • Lockers
