Holding Healthy Boundaries: Online Training 2/24

Parents/guardians of foster and adopted youth are invited to an online training about Holding Healthy Boundaries—specifically with adopted and foster youth! The training will be led by Debra Wiegel, MFT.

There are many advantages to holding healthy boundaries, including:

  • better mental health

  • avoidance of burnout

  • the ability to influence others in a good way

We will learn about healthy and unhealthy boundaries to define when/what we might want to change in our lives. Focus will be on:

  • the importance of parenting with appropriate boundaries

  • the unique needs of adopted/foster youth

  • communication tips for direct and kind limit-setting
