Capacity Building
Capacity building is fundamentally about improving effectiveness—of staff skills, services, programs, agencies, collaborative networks, and systems.
When capacity building is successful, it strengthens an organization’s ability to fulfill its mission over time. Capacity building is whatever is needed to bring an organization, coalition or system to next level maturity in operational, programmatic, financial or organizational areas. These efforts are a continuous improvement strategy toward the development, improvement, and maintenance of the infrastructure required to support stable and vital organizations and networks. The Strategies Center at Youth for Change™ offers a wide range of capacity building services designed to support intentional, coordinated, and mission-driven efforts that help organizations improve their performance and impact.
